SC Lands One

SC landed a big one today. Not a fish, but a new job.
I started today.
I'm working at a major software firm now.
It feels great to be working at a great company when the economy is not so great. I see new horizons and a brighter future.

SC, Well done and congrats. Hope you do well. BTW, The Shamrock has been out three times and alls well so far. Look for an invite soon. We went to BR a little over a week ago and it was really cool out there. Course it helps to have the new Humminbird 797.

I'm off every weekend now, so that may open up some more fishing opportunities than my former "rotating" schedule.
Of course, I may miss having one day off during the week because now I have to put up with the Saturday and Sunday coneheads at the ramps.
BTW folks, it's time to revive the use of the words "conehead" and phrases like "I got coned at the ramp" and "some conehead anchored within 10 feet of us." 
Next weekend is the Jacksonville Jazz Festival at Metropolitan Park. Mermaid and I will be going all day Saturday. Anyone else here planning on going???

I'm happy for you, SC. Perhaps the old adage, "All things come to he who waits" (if that's it) is true. When you get your vacation maybe you and your mermaid can come down for a visit. BEST OF LUCK!!!
